Edits: Camera Raw

First Snow, 3:30, 10/6/11 - f/5.0, 1/80  - Canon Powershot SX130IS

First Snow, 3:30, 10/6/11 - f/3.4, 1/60 - Canon Powershot SX130IS

Both of these pictures were edited in camera raw.  I have found it extremely helpful because it makes editing so much faster.  I used the adjustment brush to add different effects to parts of the picture.  Like, contrast, clarity, sharpness, vibrance, brightness, etc.  It was a lot of fun.

  1. Lucy, even though the snow was really early and cold, your first picture shows how pretty it can be. The editing gave the picture a lot more contrast between the green and the white. I love your second picture. Your edits in camera raw did amazing things for the picture. The color in the bricks and the wood is a lot more eye-catching. Also, the sky is beautiful! Nice Job
