I was really excited for this assignment because I knew that this weekend I would be seeing lots of beautiful scenery.  We went to lava hot springs where I focused on lots of shallow depth/ large aperture.  It was a lot of fun getting photos of my husbands horses as well.  They are so pretty and were perfect models!  I didn't edit any of these, besides a little bit in camera raw because I really liked how they all turned out originally.

  1. I like the contrast in a lot of these photos, especially the rock wall one. I like what you were able to do with it. For the red river one, I wonder if you could bring down the brightness in the sky and the bush up front, to help the trees stand out more. Horses is a nice photo, I think if you cropped it so the horses aren’t quite in the middle, might make for a better composition.
